As a kid, he spent hours sketching Mickey’s familiar ears and cheerful expression, inspired by the character’s playful energy. Those early drawings were far from perfect, but they sparked a sense of imagination and a love for creating something from scratch.

After his 2011 win in the Worldwide Ducati Monster Challenge, Ryan partnered with Rocky Patel Cigars to bring his design expertise to Ryan's own cigar brand. The collaboration allowed him to explore a new creative avenue, contributing to exclusive designs that aligned with the brand’s emphasis on quality and craftsmanship. This partnership showcased Ryan’s ability to adapt his talents to different industries while maintaining his distinctive artistic approach.
Now that Ryan is on the map with Ducati North America, he had to keep the relationship going. Ryan decided to create the memorable Martini & Rossi livery for the new Ducati Panigale. With the help of the DNA Marketing director, Arrick Maurice, they blended the iconic racing stripes with the sleek and aggressive lines of the bike. Ryan's design carefully balanced the classic Martini-Rossi branding with modern touches, resulting in a livery that felt both timeless and contemporary. By respecting the heritage of the Martini-Rossi aesthetic while tailoring it to the Panigale’s cutting-edge design, Ryan produced a look that resonated with both motorcycle enthusiasts and fans of the iconic livery. This work further demonstrated his ability to merge creativity with a deep understanding of brand identity and motorcycle design.

This motorcycle quickly became one of the most recognized Ducatis, gaining widespread attention across social media and media forums. Motorcycle fans around the world shared and celebrated this creation, turning it into an internet sensation almost overnight. This surge in online popularity highlighted not just the bike’s striking appearance but also the power of Ryan’s work to capture global attention.

Ryan’s life took a dramatic turn when he suffered a massive stroke and heart issues that left him blind, forcing him to step away from his motorcycle lifestyle and close his cigar business. The sudden health challenges brought an end to the pursuits that had defined much of his creative and entrepreneurial journey. However, after a long recovery, Ryan regained his vision and was able to start a new chapter in his art career.

Ryan’s motorcycle journey seemed to come to an end but he had one more bike to finish. This final project became a deeply personal endeavor, symbolizing his resilience and determination to complete what he had started. Though it marked the conclusion of his motorcycle-building chapter, it also served as a bridge to a new phase of his art career, where he channeled his passion and experiences into new creative pursuits.

Ryan’s last and final Ducati Scrambler motorcycle build marked the end of an era in his design journey. This project, crafted with the same passion and meticulous attention to detail as his earlier works, reflected his deep appreciation for the Scrambler’s retro-modern aesthetic. However, significant changes at Ducati, and Ryan’s personal health issues marked an end to this chapter in his life. This build did not receive the fanfare like the other builds. Being the last build, Ryan gave it his all.
After the stroke, Ryan kept a low profile, focusing on recovery and reflection as he adjusted to the profound changes in his life. With a renewed creative vision, he spent the next few years quietly building a new chapter in his career. This period became a time of reinvention, as he channeled his resilience and experiences into his art, exploring new themes and mediums that reflected his journey. Emerging stronger and more inspired he created his new company Pop Fusion Design.
